WWII US M1 Helmet
Item: WWII1634

Original WWII M1 helmet.  It has swivel bales, stainless steel rim with the seam in the rear.  Paint is OD with the cork aggregate mixed in.  I believe it was repainted during the period with a lighter OD color which is consistent with a shade used for camouflage.  No liner or chin straps.  Good looking helmet.
